Ahmedabad Design Week 3.0 themed “Design and Innovation in Defence and Aerospace” is an edition that throws light on the role of designers and youth in shaping and strengthening the Nation’ s Defence. Spread over speaker sessions, workshops and panel discussions with design stalwarts and industry experts, this event stands as a torchbearer of hope for an AtmnaNirbhar India.

With the need for indigenous productions and economic upliftment, the Defence Innovation Challenge at the platform of ADW 3.0 was a sheer depiction of the same. Launched by Defence Design and Technology Incubator of India (DDTII) in association with Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) , this challenge targeted entrepreneurs, innovators, researchers and design thinkers to unleash their prospectives and conjure up concepts and ideas for Nation’s Armed Forces. A mega doorway of angel funds, research grants and incubation support, this segment became an inspiration for self empowerment.
