Looking towards the current situation of COVID-19 pandemic attack, everyone is forced to work from home. When it comes to work from home attending online meetings on the video call has become must to carry out your task and work. There are many options and there is a huge competition in the video conferencing software’s. However, sometimes external sounds that tag along with the user in a video call can be annoying. The external noise could be someone shouting in the background, birds chirping, kitchen utensils noise, typing noise, etc. These sounds can contribute to a terrible experience. However, Google Meet has found a way to solve this issue for us.
In Google Meet video conferencing app, this feature will reduce or cancel the background noise, by using Artificial Intelligence. This feature actually works by harnessing the power of AI to understand the speaker’s voice and then just focus on that voice only and eliminating all other unnecessary sounds in the background. This Google Meet feature has been in the works for over a year now. It has been using thousands of its internal meetings to actually train the AI model. The developers also made use of clips on YouTube to better train the AI. So, in this way to make the meetings go in a smooth flow without external background voice, Google Meet is going to be a boon for all the people working from home during this pandemic across the globe.
