Since the time the news about the Covid 19 vaccination drive was announced by the government, institutions across the country have started informing their employees about resuming regular operations and dates when they are expected to rejoin office. On the one hand, it is a good thing to be going back to the pre-Covid normal environment, but at the same time it would create a lot of challenges for those going back to work after all these months. As there is no set formula to cope with this situation, each person will need to practice a few things to cope with it better. We should start our day with some light food and carry nutritious stuff for munching to set the pace with the WFH meal routine. Avoid eating or sharing food with colleagues, and if possible, eat at your own workstation. Take five to ten minutes break after any major work completion. Do some stretching while sitting on your chair and if possible take a small stroll in the open area. Do not rush into things, take one job at a time, and take out time to breathe. Listen to some soft music if time permits and share jokes and light-hearted moments with colleagues. Spend some time reading something of your interest. Though there is no set formula like I said earlier, and to each his own, these steps may help us cope with getting back to work better.
