World is fighting COVID-19 outbreak since the end of 2019. And the ways to tackle this invisible enemy are frequent hand washing, sanitization, avoiding sneezing in open, social distancing and lockdown depending on the circumstances.
The lockdown in India, according to my opinion, has proved to a very wise decision that has saved the country from witnessing thousands of deaths. For many people in India, this is for the first time in their lives that they have remained in their homes continuously for such a long time. In such difficult times, patience is the utmost requirement. We should sit back for a moment and reflect on the fact that we have got a chance to give something back to ourselves, our families and to the mother nature.
These are the times when humans are locked in their homes and all the animals and birds, even the wild animals like leopards, foxes, peacocks et al are venturing out on the streets to find peace and tranquility in the empty cities.
The nature is moving in its own pace. Neither the sunrise nor the suset is subject to lockdown. Birds are chirping, animals are merrily roaming, the rivers and oceans are flowing as they used to be.
Similarly, if one looks into the spiritual aspect of human being, nothing can lock down prayers, meditation, reading good books, learning new things and imagination. The lockdown, therefore, has allowed to plan our lives spiritually, to explore the creativity hidden within, to pursue our hobbies which were forgotten under the burden of our works and busy lives.
Above all, there is no lockdown on being kind and extending some help to the people like daily wagers who are facing a hard economic blow. No one has locked down the hope of coming out of the lockdown soon. We have got such a great opportunity to fight a battle by just being close to ourselves and our loved ones. So, let’s enjoy the life like never before.
