Simon Bradbury

Karnavati University was pleased to host Conversations@KU with Mr. Simon Bradbury, Interim Pro Vice-Chancellor/Dean for Arts, Design, and Humanities, De Montfort University Leicester (DMU), UK, on the special humanitarian project he is leading in Ahmedabad. The session started with an intriguing and thought-provoking audio-visual presentation wherein he showed how he is spearheading a project initiated by DMU that is enabling the disadvantaged people from rural India to become self-dependent through social inclusion.

He also elucidated on how they are getting connected to the best of the universities worldwide to build a strong foundation for this people to provide clean water, eradicate poverty and build sustainable cities.

Mr. Simon was quite excited to interact with the budding designers of Unitedworld Institute of Design and appreciated the way they are being imparted design education through the latest technology backed up by state-of-the-art infrastructure.
