Karnavati University is back with its third season of Conversation@ KU with a bang! The season’s first visitors were the very special GULABI GANG. Karnavati University was delighted to host Sampat Pal, the Founder and Leader of the gang came along with her daughters, granddaughter and daughter in law.

The session was anchored by USLM student, Disha Puwar and moderated by Ms. Preeti Das, Additional Director, USLM. The women graced the session in their characteristic bright pink sarees and lathis and shared their amazing story of fighting injustice through the Gulabi Gang. They had some amazing insights about how important women empowerment and self-dependence is in the patriarchal society. The students were left in splits listening to the feisty Sampat Pal, as she broke into songs, interesting stories and shared her awe-inspiring story in a playful and humorous way!
