We are thrilled to share the incredible experiences of our recent visit to Dubai as part of the Dubai – Global Design Immersion Programme!
Our team of 21 enthusiastic students of UID’s and 2 dedicated faculties Assistant Prof Geeta Choudhary and Assistant Prof Mansee Khera embarked on an unforgettable journey to Dubai, exploring the dynamic landscape of design and innovation in one of the world’s most vibrant cities.
During our time in Dubai, we had the privilege to visit the newly opened EICI campus in Dubai’s Knowledge Park, a hub renowned for hosting world-class universities. Here, our students engaged in enlightening sessions with industry experts and esteemed international faculties from the forefront of the design world. It was an invaluable opportunity for them to gain insights, exchange ideas, and broaden their perspectives on global design practices.
But it wasn’t all work and no play! Dubai offered us a plethora of exciting adventures and experiences. From marveling at the architectural wonders of the tallest building in the world to embarking on thrilling desert safaris and immersing ourselves in the enchanting Arabian Nights, every moment was filled with excitement and discovery.
We also had the privilege of exploring the exceptional Museum of the Future, delving into the cultural diversity of the Global Village, and experiencing the innovative spirit of the Dubai Design District. The mesmerizing landscape and awe-inspiring architecture of Dubai left us in absolute awe and inspired our creative souls.
This journey was not just about academic enrichment; it was about fostering creativity, embracing diversity, and forging lifelong memories. We are immensely grateful for the support and hospitality extended to us during our time in Dubai.
A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this trip a resounding success! Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to nurture the spirit of innovation and design excellence among our students.
