‘Finding the Leader in You’ (FLY Professional Programme)

Competitive Mindset Initiative (CMI) under the aegis of IIT Gandhinagaris facilitating its flagship programme, ‘Finding the Leader in You’ (FLY Professional) at Karnavati University during July 3rd, 4th and 5th, 2019.
The programme for the faculty members of KU’s constituent colleges – Unitedworld School of Liberal Arts & Mass Communication, Unitedworld School of Business and Unitedworld School of Law, began on Wednesday. Mr. Jaideep Banerjee, Director – Outreach Programs, kick-started the session by addressing the participants of the FLY professional programme.

The first session on Norm-Setting, by Ms. Uma Oza, Coordinator Facilitator of FLY Program, threw interesting insights on social conditioning and the importance of stepping up and stepping back.

Participants were introduced to the concept of norms through ice breaking games and mock sessions. The second session on Conscientiousness by Ms. Pavani Bakeri, Trainer, FLY Program, involved Socratic seminars, discussions around conscientiousness, identifying problems and quantifying them.
The highlight of Ms. Bakeri’s session was drawing up a list of Personal Codes of Conduct that can be practiced by participants outside the training session, in real life.
Overall, the sessions were very interactive and helped start a bilateral exchange of ideas, knowledge and information among faculty members of KU.
