GOAL series: Mooting Skills

UWSL, Karnavati University in association with Karnavati University Alumni Association (KUAA) organized the ‘Global Alumni Lecture Series’ (GOALs) on the topic “Mooting Skills”, on March 24, 2022, with our esteemed alumnus Ms Mansi Chhaya.

Mansi is the pioneer batch (2014-19) alumnus of UWSL. Currently, she is working as a Senior Research Associate at Redbricks Education Foundation as well as pursuing her LLM in Business Laws from Gujarat University.

The session started off with the welcome address by Dr Arun Kumar Singh, Assistant Dean UWSL and Mr Rahul Upadhyay, Senior Executive- Alumni Association.

Following this, Ms Mansi started her interactive session on the topic “Mooting Skills”. She talked about the main objectives of skill and profile building and further discussed the purpose, elements and types of moot courts.

She emphasized the skills like reading, researching, writing, articulating, court manners, communication skills and guided the students on the importance of these attributes during mooting.

Dr Sharuti Choudhary gave a special address and appreciated the Team. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. Nishtha Agrawal, Assistant Professor (Convener- Alumni Relations), UWSL.

We thank Ms Mansi Chhaya for sparing her time and conducting such an interactive session. We look forward to many more such sessions from our alumni.
