Be sure to fact-check because when you will become a lawyer and in the court of law the opponent will try to find flaws in your argument. ● Watch debates: The difference between debating and a presentation is that in a debate there is an opponent who will be arguing a point different to yours. Watch how politicians, academics and law students deliver their arguments and how they respond to points that go against what they are saying. There many online platforms where you can watch debates. ● Work on your tone and body language: Once you have researched your material thoroughly, work on your language and tone. Get the language right and make sure the tone is firm but not aggressive. A very crucial part of public speaking is body language and facial expressions.
