A four-day (24th to 27th Sep) paper workshop was organised for the students of Foundation Department under the mentoring and guidance of Associate Prof. Khushboo Bharti and Assistant Prof. Darshan Jogi. The workshop was to know paper as a material and learn the advanced technique of paper manipulation. The workshop also provided a platform to explore the properties of paper as a medium through sequential folding for improving sequential thinking capability and creative ability.

Many designers adopt this material and its techniques to express their ideas. These techniques are also abundantly used in making functional products, garments, toys, packaging materials, furniture & temporary shelters.

At the end of the workshop, the students came up with interesting surfaces, usable and wearable products.
