Mis-Match Day

On the 20th of February 2023, UWSL organized an event named “MIS-MATCH Day”. The purpose of the event was to encourage students to venture beyond their comfort zones and exhibit their imaginative skills by wearing “mixed up” and “unmatched” clothing. The competition was open to all students of the university, and they could participate either individually or in pairs. The participants’ attire and ramp walk were judged based on their originality, creativity, and overall presentation. The runway provided a platform for the students to showcase their outfits and confidently display their fashion sense. The judges assessed the outfits based on how effectively they reflected the personalities of the students and how well they were suited for the event. In conclusion, MIS-MATCH Day was an engaging event that enabled students to showcase their creative abilities. The event motivated students to step out of their comfort zones, express themselves through fashion, and develop their understanding of the importance of dressing appropriately.
