Visit to GGJS by UID students
Lifestyle Accessory Design students from UID of 3rd and 5th semester had the privilege of attending the esteemed Gujarat Gold Jewellery Show (GGJS) held in Gandhinagar.
As a B2B jewelry exhibition organizing firm, GGJS, the Gujarat Gold Jewellery Show, is dedicated to providing a platform for businesses to present their latest products and services to a global audience. At the Young Jewelers Summit, young entrepreneurs discussed a variety of themes. Karan Kothari, Nandita Agarwal, Mohit Sheth and Shradha Keshri shed light on various significant themes, including current jewelry trends, cultural relevance, and the impact of social media on the entire industry. India is the world’s top leading producer of gold jewelry, with a total global market value of $29 billion.
The significance of jewelry in India is culturally grounded and emotionally tied. India has a long history with gold jewelry.Social media is the pathway through which you can reach consumers. The importance of market trends in all fashion and jewelry, the finishing of the product, the attractive look of the jewels, and sales all contribute to the uniqueness of a brand.” The visit was meticulously coordinated, organized, and accompanied by the esteemed faculty members of the Lifestyle Accessory Department: Head of the Department Prof.Sweta Dalal, Asst.
