Workshop on Argument Mapping and Critical Thinking

USLM conducted an Online Workshop on Argument Mapping and Critical Thinking, on 24th of August 2023, the event featured Dr. Jonathan Reid Surovell, Lecturer, Philosophy from Texas State University, as the guiding force behind this insightful endeavor. The workshop aimed to equip students with the essential tools to enhance their critical thinking abilities, a skill increasingly relevant in today’s information-saturated world. Students learned the techniques that unravel the structure of arguments, enabling them to discern underlying assumptions, evaluate evidence, and form their viewpoints more systematically.
