Expectation from self is a great way to uplift and be better in every possible way. However, expectations from others can lead to dissatisfaction in the long run. Expectation from others can be the reasons of grief, sadness and might let one feel disheartened many a times. Every human is different and it is not possible for others to stand up to your expectations every time. Ultimately, it can make you sad and unsatisfied. For e.g. if you expect your friends to be with you, they might be in some phase. But, as life moves ahead and priorities change, they might not be able to devote time to you. You might not like when they are unable to devote time to you. Hence, practice expecting as less as possible from others and as much as you want from you own self. You will experience a sense of contentment.
