The Internet highway has compelled the people in the environment where new narratives emerge to influence them. In India, millions of rupees are spent on advertising campaigns on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram, and hiring armies of social media warriors for magnifying economic, political, social and cultural messages. Facebook exercise control over the speech of over 2 billion users.So.it is in a position of immense power globally. If it becomes biased,it has the capacity to benefit or hurt any government or political party in any nation. Speeches of hatred must be taken down, whereas free speech must also not be want censored. Therefore, appropriate regulations and norms should be created to address all or some of these sources of power to make a balance between misuse of power and freedom of expression on the Facebook.
