The Students of UWSB Semester 5 went for an exclusive field trip to Kaydee Logistics Park, which is one of the largest warehousing facilities of Gujarat, with more than 120 employees and tonnes of goods stored in the facility on a daily basis.

It was one of the most extraordinary trips for the students. The students were made aware about even the simplest details of inventory management, packaging and transportation. The students had a very interactive session with the fifth generation owner of the company, Mr. Jay Shah. Mr Jay not only humbled the students with his experience and knowledge but also the elaborative valuable insights of the business. He discussed the importance of ethics and maintaining certain standards for your company. “Money will come and go, but at the end of the day it’s all about honouring your work and maintaining the trust of your clients.” He also divulged the daily routine and mechanism adopted for stock keeping at the warehouse.
