Students from the Department of Interior Design’s fifth semester visited the Inner Engineering company’s “Technical Experience Centre” as part of their coursework for the Acoustics module. A thorough explanation of the science of sound was given, making it easy to comprehend how different materials vary in terms of sound absorption parameters. Additionally, the content changed depending on how it applied to the typology of activities. Walls, roofs, and floors are surface applications that can be designed using a scientific selection attitude. The technical staff at Inner Engineering set aside a specific period of time to impart the best knowledge, which broadened the field of acoustics. Additionally, participation certificates were given to all 25 students. The visit was mentored along with Associate Professor Kishori Dalwadi.
