Ellora Caves
Ellora Caves is famous for having multiple Buddhist, Jain and Hindu Temple carved on the rocky basalt cliffs. The five Jain caves at Ellora belong to the ninth and tenth centuries.
Golden Temple
The Golden Temple is located in Amritsar, the Sikhs' sacred city. The Golden Temple, with its complete golden roof, is one of the most significant pilgrimage sites for Sikhs. The Mandir is a two-story edifice built on a 67-foot square of marble.
Taj Mahal
Being one of the wonders of the world, THE TAJ MAHAL is widely considered one of the most beautiful buildings ever created. The exquisite marble structure in Agra, India, is a mausoleum, an enduring monument to the love of a husband for his favorite wife. It's also an eternal testament to the artistic and scientific accomplishments of a wealthy empire.
Indian Culture and Religion
India's culture is among the world's oldest civilization in India dates back around 4,500 years. India includes 29 states with diverse cultures and civilizations and is one of the world's most populous countries. The Indian culture is frequently classified as a mash-up of multiple different cultures.
Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism, and other religions originated in India. They are currently referred to be Indian religions. Today, Hinduism and Buddhism are the world's third and fourth largest religions, respectively. Despite being a secular Hindu-majority country, India has a sizable Muslim community.
Festivals
India, as a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic, and multi-religious society, observes religious holidays and festivals. Diwali, Durga puja, Holi, Ganesh puja, Navratri, Rath yatra, and other major festivals take place throughout year.
Food
Indian food is a cosmopolitan cuisine with a diverse range of components. It is as diverse as India itself. Indian recipes employ a diverse range of food preparation approaches, cooking techniques, and gourmet presentation. As a result, the flavours of the same foods, such as salads, sauces, vegetables, meat, and sweets, vary from region to region.

The Adalaj Stepwell
The Adalaj Stepwell was built nearly 400 years ago by skilled sculptors and Artisans, to hold drinking water for people and Travellers.
Gir National Park
Gir Forest National Park is a wildlife sanctuary in Gujarat, western India. It was established to protect Asiatic lions, who frequent the fenced-off Devalia Safari Park, along with leopards and antelopes.It’s the only region in Asia sheltering the Asiatic Lions.
Rann of Kutch
The Rann of Kutch is a large area of salt marshes that span the border between India and Pakistan. It is located mostly in Gujarat, India, and in some parts of Sindh, Pakistan. It is divided into the Great Rann and Little Rann.

Festivals
Makarsankranti, Navratri and Janmashtami are some of the popular festivals of Gujarat. The tarnetar fair and the pavagarh fair are well-known all over the country. The garba and dandiya raas are the popular dances of Gujarat.
Food
Amongst various dishes in Gujarat, some of them are Khaman, Dhokla , Undhiyoo, Khakra, Fafda and Gathiya are some of the tasty food items of Gujarat.

In terms of structure, approach, and subject matter, these programmes differ from traditional semesters. Experimentation, variety, and innovation are keywords that describe the spirit of the KU Summer and Winter Schools. They investigate new regions, provide a space to test new ideas and methods, facilitate the in-person experience, aid in understanding critical sites and situations, and provide opportunities to learn by doing. The courses at the KU Summer and Winter Schools are intense and last between two and four weeks.
Summer and Winter school abroad provide students with an enriching learning experience in a different location. An international short-term summer/winter school programme abroad also allows students to make the most of their vacation time by improving in specific subject areas while also gaining an understanding of other cultures. Furthermore, because students are surrounded by other like-minded students from other countries, they have the opportunity to make some great international friends who may become key contacts in the future.
Here are some of the benefits of enrolling in a short-term winter school programme:
1. International Exposure
Because short-term summer/winter school programmes are, as the name implies, brief, they are frequently designed to allow students to get the most from their experience. That is, the curriculum of such programmes is designed not only for maximum learning but also for making friends and networking. Because you are also learning in a foreign country, you could spend your free time exploring the city with your new international peers and learning about local cultures and norms.
2. Advance in Subjects
Summer and winter school provide an excellent opportunity to concentrate on subjects without being distracted by other course material. The additional course is like an upsurge that will help bring the subjects into sharper focus while also building on previously learned material, giving you a better understanding of its key theories and models. Finally, this will assist you in being prepared for assessments and other coursework during the traditional classroom year.
3. Obtain certification that isn't offered at your school.
You might be interested in a subject that your programme does not cover. This could be music, but with an instrument not available in your programme, or physical education, with a greater emphasis on a specific sport. Summer/winter school is an excellent opportunity to delve into these topics. If this instrument or sport fascinates you more often than others, you may want to pursue it further.
4. Increase Your Knowledge
Aside from extracurricular activities, knowledge, a good academic standing, and strong references, admissions committees for graduate studies require students to be prepared in their specialization subjects even before beginning the programme.

What exactly is a student exchange programme?
Students can study abroad at one of KU's partner institutions through student exchange programmes. The prospect of studying abroad is both exciting and terrifying for many students. You will, however, have the opportunity to immerse yourself in a new culture, meet new people, and develop as a person.
Every student's study abroad experience is unique, but one thing they all have in common is that it is an unforgettable one.
(Semester duration: one semester)
Karnavati University students and students from partner universities around the world can transfer for one semester to the collaborating institution and vice versa through the semester exchange programme. Credits for courses completed during the semester exchange would be transferred from Karnavati University to the partner universities after the courses were planned and approved in advance by both Karnavati University and the partner universities.

What exactly are Study Abroad Programs?
The study abroad programme allows KU students to study for one or two semesters at partner universities, gaining knowledge in a specific field while meeting new international people and exploring the country.
What is the distinction between a Semester Exchange Program and a Study Abroad Program?
Students in semester exchange programmes pay full-time tuition at KU but choose their courses at the partner university they will be visiting and are subject to the rules and regulations of the University they are visiting on exchange. At the end of the semester or academic year, the grades are recorded and forwarded to KU.
Students enrolled in Study Abroad programmes are subject to the normal rules and regulations of the Partner universities. They pay their tuition to the affiliated university.

Step by Step Application process:
- Fill the Online application form at (Link for Online Application Form- Common) or download the International Student Application Form (Link for downloading the form – Form will be shared once ready)
- Submit your Academic documents/transcripts along with your Passport/National Id at [email protected]
- If eligible, you will be issued a Conditional Offer of Admission stating all particulars pertaining to your admission.
- Payment of advance tuition fee from your home country using bank details mentioned on the Conditional Offer of Admission
- Issuance of Final Acceptance Letter (valid for Indian Student Visa application)
Scholarship
To support our vision of Internationalization and attract bright students across the globe we are offering merit based scholarships of upto 50% of the tuition fee based on the academic performance of the applicant in their last completed qualification.

At Office of International Affairs we ensure that we guide the students at each stage of Admission application. Visa application is the one of the most crucial stages and requires the students to furnish all required documents with due diligence as stated by the Indian High Commission in respective countries.
We provide the Admission Letter as well as the Bonafide letter to the students at the time of admission which can be used to apply for Indian Student visa. We advise all students to apply for their visa well before time as it may take upto 2-4 weeks of processing time depending upon various countries. After reaching the University Campus, students are advice to get the visa verified by the University and will be required to deposit a copy of the valid visa at Office of International Affairs. It is the responsibility of the student to ensure that throughout his/her study period student is on valid visa.
Documents Required
- Acceptance Letter and Bonafide letter issued from the university after the payment of advance fee.
- Original Passport with a validity of more than 6 months at the time of application, with at least 4 blank pages.
- Print out of properly filled up online visa application form.
- Receipt of Registration fee payment
- 2 recent photos
- Minimum 6 months Bank Statement and Proof of finance (letter of support from the parent / guardian accompanied by a bank guarantee)
- Travel Tickets booking confirmation.
- National ID & Passport Copy with proof of residence in home country.
- Yellow Fever Medical Certificate
- Visa Application Fee (varies depending upon the country applying from, to be paid directly at the High Commission/Embassy of India upon submission of application)

Guidelines for Visa Extension and FRO/FRRO
It is a mandatory for all International students except those from Nepal and Bhutan to get their Student Visa registered at FRRO/FRO Noida or New Delhi within 14 days of arrival in India. University will guide and assist Student with all the required processes needed for FRO/FRRO Registration. We advise all students to visit https://indianfrro.gov.in/ for all updated information.
