Celebration of National Handloom Day

It is important to instill the idea of celebrating handlooms everyday and at Unitedworld Institute of Design, Karnavati University, the School of Fashion Design initiated to spread awareness on handlooms through an exhibition sale and live demonstrations by artisans.

The students being the central participants of this dynamic initiative, took to interacting with the artisans and learning about handlooms.

Building responsible designers who stand as true support systems to uplift and empower the handloom community of India is the need of the hour and Unitedworld Institute of Design thrives in paving a pathway for the same.
