2-DAYS NATIONAL LEVEL TECHNICAL SYMPOSIUM

Development, progress, fulfillment, overall happiness and survival of humankind is all possible with the presence of harmony in the ecosystem. In this era, where living without technology is insurmountable, Unitedworld School of Computational Intelligence, Karnavati University created a platform for such technology harmonization through a 2-Day National Level Technical Symposium “AriaRo” from 25 August, 2022 to 26 August, 2022. Ariaro is an epitome of what we would call harmonizing robotics and harmonizing your innovation.
The event consisted of various competitions that were held in those two days. On 25th August, 2022 the event commenced with an inaugural ceremony at 9:30 am in the university auditorium where the ceremony was graced by the honorable Vice Chancellor, Dr A.K.S. Suryavanshi and Dean USCI, Dr. Raju Shanmugam. Participants from various corners of India took part in the event with great enthusiasm and energy. The mega event was graced by the esteemed chief guest Dr Brij Bhushan Gupta, Director, International Center for AI and Cybersecurity Research and Innovations and Full Professor at Asia University, Taiwan, during which he introduced the world of cybersecurity to the audience. He briefed the students about the importance of cyber security especially for drones and robots along with the use of cybersecurity in various domains with its advantages and entrepreneurship opportunities present for the upcoming technocrats. The inaugural ceremony came to an end with a vote of thanks delivered by Head Prof. Dr Avadhesh Gupta.
The very first event that took place from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm was a coding competition “CODE-A-THON” with a total number of 20 participants where they competed within themselves and 10 made it to the final round of code writing, out of which Mr. Vansh Lilani of Airport School, Ahmedabad bagged 1st position and Miss Pragati Aliani of Airport School, Ahmedabad became the first runner up. Following lunch break from 1:45 pm to 2:45 pm, a brain challenging “Quiz competition” was held that comprised questions from various technological domains. 14 participants made it to the second round out of total 37 participants, for the pluckr card round. Out of them, 5 students successfully managed to make it to the final buzzer round. The 1st position was secured by Pratham Chellani and the runner up was Mr. Sankarshan Pillai.
An exhilarating “Idea and Innovation Project Presentation” was the last event of day 1 from 2:45 t0 4:30 where 4 young and innovative minds came up with mind blowing ideas and were judged by the jury on various parameters. They presented their ideas through presentations and through the prototypes they made. The winner of this was Mr. Swaroop P with Mr. Aryan as the
runner-up. The winners were awarded with the certificate and prize money by honorable Mr Saumya Deb Hazra, Head – Admission and Marketing.
We had 50 students and 3 teachers from Kendriya Vidhyalaya who witnessed the day-1 event where they interacted with the students and teachers and gained insights on robots and drones. They received a special participation certificate from esteemed Dean Prof Dr P. Lakshmi, UWSL and Mr K. K. Singh, Director – Academics and Administrations, UID bringing the day 1 to a successful end.
On 26th august 2022, “AriaRo Day-2” we were honored to have Mr. Vishit Chhatrapati, co-founder and marketing strategist at Mind Aspirant-Gamified Learning Platform and Mr Manthan patel, co-founder of Alter EVC for a technical talk. Both young entrepreneurs made an inspirational impact on the newest generation.
Followed by this we had the most awaited competition that was “Building Drone” and “Building Mini Robots”. Young and astounding students of this new generation showcased their innovations some of which included a prototype that could detect alcohol, a carbon fiber model for aeromodelling a multi-purpose agricultural drone and a robot prototype useful for security defense and surveillance purposes.
The winner for the “building drone” competition was Mr Swaroop R K and the winners for the “Building Mini-Robot” were Team Iniose. The winners received the prize money and certificate by respected Dr. Akhil Saaraf, Head of Karnavati Incubation and Innovation Foundation (KIIF). The event came to an end where Prof. Divya Mohan, USCI delivered the valedictory for the event thanking the enthusiastic team of volunteers of USCI, thanking dear dean Dr. Raju Shanmugham and honorable Vice Chancellor, Dr. AKS Suryavanshi for providing us with a platform to organize such an event which was beneficial for everyone who witnessed it.
The whole 2 day event was a grand success and the efforts put in really paid off well. The vision of the event of harmonizing with the technology not only brought people from all parts of India together but also brought the innovative and mind blowing ideas into reality that was an inspiration for all who witnessed it.
