Welcoming USLM students after summer vacation
The department of USLM, Karnavati University (KU) welcomed its existing batch in the new academic year with a two-day induction program. Vice Chancellor Dr AKS Suryavanshi introduced various exciting programs planned for the students. Some of them like the NCC program which will help students to join Defence services, and Coursera under MOOC which will help them to learn outside the regular class times. He also introduced the ‘Social Immersion program’ which will be initiated with the help of NGOs.
USML Dean, Dr Sonam Mansukhani motivated students to break their cage of fear and pushed them to come up with their voices. On the same day’s 2nd session, assistant professors Dr Sandip Debnath and Himanshu Parcha conducted a student group discussion on the topic ‘Social Media affects daily communication’. The remaining students also voiced their thoughts and countered the group’s submission. This hot discussion between the faculties and students worked as an ice-breaking session.
USLM assistant professor Ms Arkita Pal bridged and maintained the energy of a program with her flawless anchoring. Dr Preeti Nakhat extended a vote of thanks for the first-day induction program.
