B.Sc. Ophthalmic Technology

• Ocular Anatomy and Physiology: Understanding the structure and function of the eye.
• Optics and Refraction: Studying the principles of light and vision correction techniques.
• Ocular Diseases and Treatment: Learning about common eye diseases and their management.
• Clinical Skills and Procedures: Gaining hands-on experience in clinical refraction, contact lens fitting, and other ophthalmic procedures.
• Ophthalmic Instruments and Techniques: Training in the use of advanced ophthalmic equipment and diagnostic techniques.
• Community Eye Health: Understanding the importance of eye health in the community and participating in eye health awareness programs.

Students will also participate in practical training and internships in hospitals, eye clinics, and vision care centers to gain real-world experience and enhance their clinical skills.
