On January 29, 2024, the Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC), launched the eagerly awaited “Innovation, Design, and Entrepreneurship (IDE) Bootcamps (Phase II)” across 10 different locations in India. The virtual inauguration ceremony was presided over by Prof. T. G. Sitharam, Chairman of AICTE, who officially commenced the bootcamp at 9:30 AM from the AICTE Headquarters in New Delhi.
The event marked a significant milestone in promoting innovation and entrepreneurship among students and was broadcasted live on various social media platforms, ensuring widespread accessibility. The IDE Bootcamps (Phase II) were designed to foster a culture of creativity, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial thinking among participants, reflecting the government’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of innovators and business leaders. This collaborative initiative underscored the importance of skill development and innovation in shaping India’s educational and economic landscape.
