Mr. Jaideep Banerjee, Director – Outreach Programs, Karnavati University, received the trophy and the certificate from Dr. C.P.Thakur (Member of Parliament Rajya Sabha & Former Cabinet Minister, Govt. of India and Smt. Sharmila Tagore, Padma Bhushan Awardee, and celebrated Indian Film Actress.

Mr. Banerjee shared his views while speaking at the summit on the topic “Vision and strategies for Higher Education Institutions”. During his speech, he explained how the modern day educational institutions belonging to different tiers should diversify their approaches and concentrate on certain strategic operations to yield better results for its students. Mr. Banerjee, with his extemporary yet remarkable speech, expounded how certain tactics and approaches such as substantial research, critical thinking, interuniversity mobility, support MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) etc. can open up new horizons for the educational institutions which in turn will help improve the overall quality of education in India. He explained the necessity to work harder on the collaborative ties with international institutions of repute. There should be a greater opportunity and wider arena to educate all with inter-university mobility. His strong opinions and ultra-modern approach earned a lot of appreciation and applause from the dignitaries, who were present during the event.
