I was just wrapping up dinner when my professor called me to revise my work that I had sent to her. The hunger for getting my work accepted was so much that I kept thinking the entire night on what to change, what to add or subtract and what would look connected.
The same hunger is fed in many of us. Hunger, I do not really mean the edibles but hunger for something you want- could be hunger for a higher position, hunger for whatever job is available, hunger to be the best, hunger to stand out of the box and be included in various amazing, cool looking groups and much more. We hardly stop at bare minimum. We are designed to have so many complexities in life. We also eliminate half of them smilingly. The hunger to succeed makes way for so many other challenges and we overcome them too. A point I would like to make here is why do we fall back from understanding and easing our hunger? In order to ease our hunger we trouble and hurt so many people. On our way, we leave people behind us, or with every great achievement we take that unsettles other hungry souls.
Hunger is never really satisfying. Pop’s up in any mood, in any situation and any atmosphere. All we have to do is know our hunger and how do we keep the hunger to ourselves without crushing someone else’s hunger.
