When Pablo Escobar – the infamous Colombian drug lord – was killed in a shootout in 1993, it was rumored that he had hidden away drug money worth millions. But now his nephew claims that he has found $18 million in the walls of his uncle’s house. At one point, 80% of cocaine in America was routed through the Escobar’s Medellin Cartel. Beginning in 1987, he was on the Forbes International Billionaires list for 7 years in a row – he even offered to pay off Colombia’s national debt in exchange for amnesty.
