In the context of education system of India, the new policy have been adopted in the new education policy which attempts to incorporate global and local concerns of education. To achieve the goals of new education policy, it is inevitable to reform the teachers through the teaching education and training. In the education policy, the teacher’s education before the appointment, sustainable occupational training and positive atmosphere at work place have been mentioned. There is the need of constant training and skill development programs to maintain the quality in teaching. However, no specific plans have been made till now. For the education of teachers, the outline of the National Curriculum is to be developed till the 2021. As per the plan a four years integrated course is to be implemented. It is suggested that the teacher’s training and education programme cannot wait for a long time. Hence, it should be implemented by all the governments on the priority basis
