Pandora’s Box

A treasure of sins,
Locked in a box
Enrising the evil thoughts.
The vision of it escaping so terrifying,
That it closes before hope can escape.
An innocent curiosity, leading to mankind’s destruction,
A shadow that is hidden in the dark
Engulfing its own darkness such that all the doors close
Haunting its way in the nightmares,
Till all that is left is a soul
Plain, dead and just breathing
Not a smile, not a glare, not a frown.
The war of fear and need of victory,
Started with bloodshed and ended with a cry of loss
The rain of sadness marking its reign
For years to come…
