Words can do wonders!

July 11, 2020

Words can evoke curiosity and leave you wanting more. It can heal you or break you from inside. The most powerful tool of the modern era. It can inspire millions or demotivate an entire generation.

But the question is -how do you build curiosity or make your words intriguing? There are many ways to do it.

Sometimes, ambiguity in a story can trigger curiosity. However, it is like a double-edged sword! If you don’t unfold it in an interesting way, your readers will die of boredom!

Check the following write-up for example:
|| The only way to getting out of the impasse is to extricate yourself from the chaos. One may well up with emotion blurting out the inchoate yearnings. But, I surmise, it’s only the conscience of the people one is surrounded by and one’s unflagging pursuit of excellence are what facilitate success. ||

The inner meaning of these two sentences can inspire you in many ways but could you decipher it? Remember the double-edged sword we discussed?

Anthropomorphism is also a unique tool that gives you the freedom to wander around the realm beyond reality. It’s a unique way to hook your readers.

Check the following story:
|| A Pen-ful story:
“The protective bulwark that I thought was saving me against the evils of the world turns out to be a mirage created out of selfishness and hypocrisy!”—the Pen complained!!
“Yes, I know your pain, ‘use and throw’ pen!! But not to give you any hope and just to clarify, it was just a pen holder, you stupid!!”-Montblanc smirked!
Moral of the story-Nobody can understand your pain unless they go through it.||

A nice example of Anthropomorphism where inanimate objects can literally speak.
The tools are plenty in English language but you need to learn how to use them properly.

Ultimately, the pen (keyboard) is mightier than the sword!
