Importance of Live Workshops and Community Service

Live Workshops: It is very important that we give hands on approach to the students. It should be compulsory for the school to organize a live workshop for different aspects where students can experiment with the learning. For instance, how many of know how to treat a patient and give him first aid. So, First Aid Training and Workshop can be organized. Similarly, how many of us know to deal with the Fire Safety Equipment, probably very few of us. Live workshops will give a break to the students from the monotonous routine. Similarly workshops on the recycling the commodities around us.

Community Service: The concept of responsibility towards the community should be deeply ingrained in every student. Currently we are trapped in the caste system wherein we term community to be equal to our caste. Community is the people with whom we live and grow. Not everybody is having an equal status in the community and therefore it is important to serve the community. It is important to serve the people those who are underprivileged. Therefore, community service in from free community classes and other modes should be an integral part of the system.
