Patriarchy is a social system that values masculinity more dominates females. Women are seen as inadequate and extension of men. It believes that the highest accomplishment a woman can have is marriage and giving birth to a child. Men are expected to be physical -mentally strong, dominating and the protector. The idea implies that the natural state of gender equality still doesn’t exist. Why can’t all genders exist equally? The opposition to patriarchy doesn’t say women are better or superior to men. It says that everyone is equal.
