“Akshat Rana, a talented graduate of the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) in 2014, embarked on a journey in the world of textiles. Fueling his passion for knowledge, he pursued his Master’s degree at the esteemed Pearl Academy, affiliated with the National Textile University (NTU).
Akshat’s career began as a print designer at Ratan Textile, where his remarkable talent and deep understanding of textiles quickly propelled his career forward. With his unwavering dedication to the craft, he soon found himself drawn to the world of academia. Joining the Pearl Academy in Jaipur, Akshat immersed himself in the art of teaching, dedicating five years to nurturing the next generation of textile designers. Alongside academia, he also engaged in fulfilling freelance projects, showcasing his versatility and expertise in the field.
Akshat’s relentless pursuit of growth and innovation led him to revamp design courses, infusing his personal touch and industry connections to ensure students receive a holistic and industry-relevant education. Recognized for his visionary leadership, Akshat assumed the role of Principal at ATDC Rajasthan, where he wielded his expertise to shape the future of design education.
Currently, Akshat is an integral part of the dynamic team at UID Gandhinagar, where he continues to inspire and empower creative minds. Firmly believing in the power of collaboration and shared growth, Akshat constantly pushes boundaries, creating an environment that fosters creativity and nurtures excellence.” |
