Ms. Ghosh has completed her M.Phil and is pursuing Ph.D in Urban and Reginal Planning at CEPT (Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology), Ahmedabad.
Her experience ranges from, research, consultancy and teaching in several organizations. She has been involved in teaching courses on planning and governance in the Faculty of Planning, CEPT University and also in the Department of Geography, Gujarat University for around three years.

She has worked with the UNDP, United Cities and Local Governments on  the project “City Enabling Environment Rating: Assessment of the countries in Asia and the Pacific”; with DRDO (Defence Research and Development Organisation) at the Defense Terrain Research Laboratory, New Delhi on ground-water prospect mapping in Jaisalmer, Bikaner and Barmer districts of Rajasthan and with GSI (Geological Survey of India), Kolkata at the Geohazard Research and Management Cell, on optimisation of geoinformation tools for medium scale landslide susceptibility mapping in Darjeeling Himalayas.
