Dr. Brajesh Dhiman has over 20 years of experience in industrial design, automotive design, academics and design research with a number of publications to his credit. He has been able to mentor a number of student final project, as an Associate Professor in NIFT, Kangra . As a senior automotive designer in TATA Elxsi , Bangalore, has been part of the strategic design planning group which executed many successful projects for Army Transportation Design Bureau . He has long experience in industrial design and research with the TATA group and Indian Institute of Technology. Additionally, he has worked with Hyundai America Technical Center Detroit, Tokyo R&D, Ford Germany, Tata Motors, and Whirlpool India. He does design research in small-scale Photovoltaic Applications in developing country contexts. He aim to develop adaptive solutions with multi-disciplinary research focus on the field of Decentralized Energy, Electronic Realization, and Industrial Design Development. Some of his current research interests are in Artificial Intelligence enabled Design, and exploring the indigenous context of charging options related to electric vehicles, especially scooters. He is a recipient of the prestigious Tata Group Extra Mile Award. He has published research papers in the national and international journals and Conferences indexed in Scopus etc. His research interests include exploring AI-enabled Design, Design Research in Energy, and Swappable Charging for Electric Scooters.
