| Elena Rausse has been a product designer since 2015, ceramist and teacher at Basic design course at ISIA Roma Design. She trained as an apprentice ceramist in the family atelier. She is interested in materials design, in particular on the expressive-sensory characterization of ceramic materials, biobased materials for sustainability, and social innovation in relation to territorial characteristics and the role of the creative process with ceramic materials in design practice. Her activities allow her to investigate the world of design as a matter, investigating the relationship that exists between the language of shapes and their meaning to discover the hidden relationships that influence our daily life, with the intention of proposing futuristic and suitable solutions to make interact mental and cultural models with signs, shapes and new technologies. |
