Jatin Ambasana

Profile of Jatin Ambasana

Jatin Ambasana is an Assistant Professor with a versatile experience of around 14+ Years in Academics. He started his career as an Software engineer in Pune. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the Unitedworld School of Computational Intelligence (USCI), Gandhinagar, Gujarat. He is also pursuing his PhD. in Inter-disciplinary Programme in Educational Technology (IDP in ET) from IIT Bombay. He is a teacher by choice, a techno-savvy by passion and a creative person by nature. He has been a vibrant speaker in 18+ FDPs on topics like LCM Model, Active Learning, and Design Thinking. He has also worked as Teaching Assistant (TA) for the two NPTEL MOOCs on Swayam by IIT Bombay i.e. namely Designing Learner-Centric MOOCs (2021 & 2022) and Digital Transformation in Teaching Learning Process (A MOOC on Smart boards, 2020). He has also been working with DeepShaala initiative of IIT Bombay. He has acted as an active Discussion Forum Moderator for the “Online Teaching”, self-paced course website for guiding Teachers to transition to online instruction mode in Pandemic. He has successfully completed SCJP and SCWCD professional certificates for Java Programming language. He was also an institute coordinator for Oracle Academy, Aakash Tablet project and Virtual Labs in previous institutes, where he has successfully coordinated events like Oracle Academy Student Day, Code Java Together workshop (Workshop on Greenfoot) and SQL Expert Competition using SQL Island Game. SQL Expert Competition was highly appreciated by GTU and Oracle Academy. He believes in, and also implements, the “Learning by doing” approach for teaching/learning using various digital tools.
