Prof. Manisha Mohan is Dean – Academics, United World Institute of Design (UID), Karnavati University. She is an alumnus of the National Institute of Design (NID) and has over 25 years of experience in Design, e-learning, Animation, Game Design, Instructional Design, UI UX and AR VR. She has worked across academia and industry and played senior leadership roles in organizations such as Tata Interactive Systems, UPES, Emeritus India APAC. Over the years, she has led design on several e-learning programs, experience design projects, AR VR, games & simulations for audiences across age groups and industry verticals.
She is on the Board of Directors for Endoenergy Systems Ltd, a robotics startup for healthy aging.
The projects she has been involved in, have won several international awards for innovation & design including Brandon Hall, Apex, CII Design, etc. She is a member of the CII National Design Committee. She has been the Chairperson for applied/serious games SIG, NASSCOM and is now a part of the India Game Developer Council. She has been an assessor and team leader under the Tata Business Excellence Model which is based on the Malcom Baldrige excellence framework. She is pursuing her PhD in Virtual Reality in Healthcare. |
