Pranav Sharma is an accomlished and passionate academician with an extensive pedagogical approach towards multitude of disciplines across art and design. With a background traversing across professional practice and academic excellence, Pranav offers a unique blend of theory and practice to young aesthetes.
After completing his MA in Visual Communication, Pranav worked with prestigious organisations like Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India (MBRDI), BYJU’s and others. Pranav has previously taught at Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) as a design faculty. As a pupil of South-Asian art history, he emphasizes on interdisciplinary collaboration and encourages students to explore the connections between art, design, and art history of the Indian subcontinent. He has recently acquired a certificate of proficiency in Sanskrit language from Nalanda University. Pranav is a research-based practitioner trained and skilled in traditional and digital mediums of visual art. As a passionate artist, he has been working as a Mural/ Graffiti artist across India and has exhibited his pieces across metro stations, flyovers and commercial spaces. As an artist he has also been associated with St+Art India Foundation, DC Shoes, Honda Two Wheelers, HomeGrown etc. Beyond the classroom, Pranav is a trained Tennis player with numerous awards and recognitions achieved for the respective sport.
With a strong pedagogical apparoach, Pranav is dedicated to nurture an inclusive and diverse group of aesthetes and shape the artistic landscape through his teaching, research, and creative endeavors.
