|Ms. Das has over 15 years of work experience in various Mass Communication related fields. As a television and print journalist she has worked with Aaj Tak/ Headlines Today, Daily News and Analysis (DNA) and the Indian Express.
She bagged the Ladlee Media Award for Investigative Journalism (2015-16) for Western India and then for South Asia for her series of stories on gang rape survivors, sexual assault and cases of missing toilets in villages of Gujarat. She continues to write as a freelance journalist around health, children and women’s right and human interest stories.
As a qualitative market researcher Ms. Das has worked on brands like Fasttrack, Red Label, Kingfisher and TVS. She has also been a part of the radio industry as a radio jockey for Radio Mirchi and a producer at MyFM.
Ms. Das has led the Communication and Information team of ActionAid International for 2 years under the India Tsunami Rehabilitation Program.
