Presentation for conference in use of Gaddi sheep wool fabric for fashion garments. Titled “Wandering seams”, the said fabric is at the verge of extinction unless we bring meaningful design intervention and business proposals for social up-lift and saving the sheep and the tribe’s culture.
Wool was sourced from Chamba, and dyed in natural dyes and garments were made using only hand-techniques and hand stitches. Pictures and posts can be seen on fb page @indiankhadi
