We are honoured to announce that Preeti Das, director of KCEIL (Karnavati Center for Experiential and Immersive Learning) is one of the 12 extraordinary women artist featured in the book titles- “ Sunflowers- Incredible Journeys of Epic Women Artists From India.”
Written by award winning author Sujata Parashar the book is a collection of unfiltered and untold success stories of Twelve remarkable women artists. The book was released on 14th February 2024.
The book captures the heart and mind of these female artists belonging from diverse fields such as theatre, visual arts, fashion, etc. The title, “Sunflowers”, was carefully chosen to show the qualities of an artist and how—like a sunflower—they’re not only beautiful, vibrant and resilient but also have the power to put forth creative solutions to the world’s problems with their art.
We are very happy that one of the twelve artist is our own Preeti Das. Her contribution to theatre, society and academics continues to inspire and empower. From stand-up comedy, storytelling, journalism and academics-, the world is her playground and oh how she plays!
