Lucky are those who have always been closer to music and known its nuances. The benefits of music are many, as we all know. And as one delves deeper into it, the art form opens up a vast world of possibilities to challenge our brain. Let’s talk about Hindustani classical music. Say for example, most of us non-singer Indians can very easily sing ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Dha Ni Sa”. Now let’s try out singing the standalone note “Ma” or “Pa” or any other note, but not with the sequence. One may also try out a permutation-combination of various notes. For example, “Re Pa Ni” or “Sa Ma Dha Sa” without touching the other notes! Kudos to non-singers, if you have got it in one go! That’s the sound of music
