The Department of Fashion and Lifestyle at Unitedworld Institute of Design (UID) recently hosted an extraordinary event, ‘Quirky Chowk,’ transforming the campus into a vibrant marketplace that pulsated with creativity, entrepreneurial spirit, and the unmistakable energy of youthful innovation. This unique initiative brought together Fashion & Lifestyle students from various semesters, breaking down academic barriers and fostering a sense of community among aspiring designers.
The heart of Quirky Chowk was the array of pop-up stalls that dotted the campus grounds. Each stall was a canvas for students to showcase their design prowess and entrepreneurial acumen. From handcrafted jewelry that told stories of traditional craftsmanship blended with contemporary aesthetics, to upcycled fashion pieces that championed sustainability without compromising on style, the offerings were as diverse as they were captivating.
