USLM is doing the same and creating the serious journalism pushed to expand the boundaries to create journalists, digitally expert, techno savvy media experts of the future.  The course is designed by leading academicians, media practitioners keeping all present and future needs of digital media. Here students will explore traditional journalism, public relations, Advertising, ICT, Event management, online journalism, digital publishing, social media, and digital citizenship.

We guide, teach, train the students as truth seekers, change makers, digital media experts and story tellers in traditional and digital media. As a professional school we emphasize the value of a broad educational foundation embedded with professional skills and proficiency in mass communication skills. Journalism and Media course here is designed in a way to provide the skills to students to succeed in Media industry in various roles. Internships are available to students in all industries and professions of journalism, broadcast media, digital media, advertising, public relations, event management and digital, content generation. Internships gives them a chance to practice the skills provided them in the school to use in a real-world environment. School offers great opportunity for students to develop the skills, profile, portfolio and important industry experience.  

Dissertation in the final year gives an experience of research which will benefit them in their future roles in mass media. There are supervised educational activities, projects, field visits, meeting the celebrities, research workshops, visits to media houses. All these efforts are very much effective in finding employment and entrepreneurship attitude. USLM also instrumental in providing placement to the students as per their academic and professional attitude and aptitude.

Yes, for pursuing BA Mass Communication at USLM, candidates are required to appear for an entrance examination. Soon after the test, the college shortlists the candidates and calls them for a selection round that includes personal interview and group discussions.
