B.A. (Hons.) Digital Media

This 3 year undergraduate course educates students on two aspects  1.  Working in multi-skilled teams and 2. engaging with a wide range of modern, creative business processes – while making digital media products that deliver value for people.

The course will provide technical training and allow students to research the applications of digital media and the industries built around this technology. Some papers offer a focus on television or film, while others keep with a broader study of all digital media applications. Students learn about audio, video and multimedia production, design and editing. Programs also cover communication concepts and the history of digital media.

Papers like Digital Footprints, Ethical Hacking, Understanding the changes in the society that the Digital Media is responsible for and the use of Digital Media for development are a few concepts that will be taught to the students in detail in the 3 year course.

Note: If course is not offered due to lack of adequate number of students, students of the same course will be transferred to other course on the basis of available seats as per the guidelines of the Academic Council.
