Business data analytics has piqued the interest of organizations since it has been recognized as a tool for acquiring important insights from data, its presentation and analysis, for better-informed business decision-making. As a result, more businesses are investing in Data Analytics education and hands-on training to meet strategic objectives, innovate, and gain a competitive advantage in the marketplace. UWSB, in collaboration with KU-CSD, organized a workshop on Data Analytics with POWER BI, as the main tool to analyze and visualize data. Power BI is the Industry leader and helps data modelling with simple and accessible insights supported by custom and open-source visuals. This workshop was designed for business students from 20-22 September 2023, in partnership with the leading analytics organization of India, TRANSORG ANALYTICS, with faculty from Transorg anchoring the workshop. Additionally, the curtain raiser for the workshop was delivered by Prof Chinmay Baxi, from Ganpat University.

Selection of students:
We followed a rigorous process to select the students. We conducted an eligibility test to select the students for this training workshop.102 students self-nominated themselves for test. Out of which we selected only 56 students based on merit.
Post workshop Assessment:
A trainer conducted a test after workshop and selected 6 best performers and three winners.
