As an initiative to enhance Computational Thinking for foundation semester 2 students, a month-long (2nd March to 28th March 2020) computer literacy and creative coding module is planned and spearheaded by UID Faculty Stephan Saaltnik (Graphic Designer and Computer Sound Synthetics from the Netherlands) and Sharad Shetty (Coder from SOIS, Karnataka) along with the support of faculty from various disciplines.
Computational Thinking comprises ways of thinking, including problem defining and reflection in action that is sharpened and honed through practising the Art of Computer Programming. Focusing on what and how students learn, and form a Community of Practice, to experiment, to discover hands-on and engage to achieve the learning outcomes.
