Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) Specialization

MDS (Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge)

The Department of Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridge specializes in replacing missing teeth and structures of the oral cavity, offering cosmetic dentistry services. Treatment includes complete and partial dentures, fixed bridges, implants, veneers, and restoration of facial structures. Postgraduate students are required to present research papers and theses in addition to treating patients from basic to surgical interventions.

MDS (Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics)

The Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, with over 15 years of experience, focuses on undergraduate and postgraduate dental education. Specializing in tooth restorations, root canal therapy, smile design, and utilizing cutting-edge technologies like microscopes and CBCT scanners, our department ensures comprehensive training for students through workshops and conferences.

MDS (Periodontology)

Periodontology is the dental specialty focusing on supporting structures of teeth and associated conditions, managed by specialist periodontists. These experts prevent, diagnose, and treat periodontal diseases, offering diverse treatments including surgery and implant procedures, often led by postgraduate students.

MDS (Orthodontics)

The Orthodontics Department focuses on aligning teeth, enhancing smiles, and ensuring facial aesthetics using modern techniques alongside traditional and surgical approaches. MDS (Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry)

Established in 2006 for undergraduates and expanded in 2012 for postgraduates, the Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry department equips students with skills to address children’s oral health issues. MDS (Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery)

The Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at Karnavati School of Dentistry offers comprehensive training in surgical procedures for both undergraduate and postgraduate students, enabling them to effectively treat patients in private practice.
