Designing starts by observing and experiencing. The students of Master in Interior Design, semester-1, were taken on an Experiential Tour to the iconic buildings of the Heritage City as- Sanskar Kendra, Tagore Hall, Sangath (Ar B. V. Doshi’s office) & Hussain -Doshi Gufa. “…Sanskar Kendra characterized the intersection of a geometric shape with an organic footprint as water-body. Tagore hall has a volumetric space. Gufa has a homogenous form merging out as bubbles in the air… “ these are the few translations of the Interior spaces narrated by a bunch of fresheners in the field of Interior Design at UID. The 20 students were accompanied by Prof. Kishori Dalwadi & Assc Prof. Ruchita Mistry.
